Description

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Medical Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced Gastroenterology practice, serving patients in both Williamsburg and Newport News. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, looking for long-term growth, and comfortable traveling between our two office locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient care, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and documenting medical histories
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
Administer medications and injections as directed
Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards

Requirements

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA or RMA)
Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Willingness to travel between Williamsburg and Newport News offices
