Description
Join the team at Advanced Dermatology, Inc. as a certified Medical Assistant for its Monroe, WI (primary site) and Freeport, IL (one day per week)location. This is a full time position up to four to five days per week.The ideal candidate must provide outstanding support to the physician and physician assistant while providing exceptional care to patients and customers within the clinical scope of an MA. The MA must ensure that patients are welcomed in a warm and friendly manner and sees that their needs and expectations are met. The medical assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations in a the fast paced environment of the clinic with the goal of a positive patient experience with every encounter.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinates with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow, waiting room, and exam room experience. Prepares patients to be seen by physicians or physician assistant. Assists with biopsies, Mohs surgery and any other procedures as directed. Candidate must be proficient with collection, documentation, processing, and verification of information related to patient care in an EMR system. This task is performed through an iPad. Communicates patient concerns and needs to the healthcare provider and provides timely responses to patient inquiries and timely completion of assigned tasks. Must demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and via email, as well as ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters. We offer:

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and AAMA or RMA certified or eligible for certification within 6 months of employment. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Salary/Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
