Sports Information Office-Intern
Pitt-Bradford—a NCAA Division III institution—is looking for a Sports Information Intern. This is a temporary position.
Duties: Primarily reporting to the Sports Information Director, the Assistant SID will assist in general operation of the Sports information Office.
Gameday operations (60%)
Aid in any aspect of gameday operations, which may include but not limited to, set up and tear down, general statistic keeping for any sport, any other gameday score table task, broadcast commentary over livestream.
Aid in management of department with social media stream, helping create content before, during and after games.
Aid in post game recap writing for website.
Aid in management and scheduling of FWS student workers on gameday.
Administrative duties (40%):
Aid in writing press releases for department activities
Aid in sorting and organization of department data, including statistic files and photographs
Aid in general website upkeep and updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of playing and/or coaching experience at the college level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse community.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications required.
