About Wisconsin Civic Power Table
The Wisconsin Civic Power Table (WCPT) is a 501(C)(3) fiscally-sponsored organization and the Wisconsin affiliate of the State Voices network. WCPT convenes a community of over 60 partners, providing support, accountability, and cohesive strategy to build collective and well-organized power. Specifically, WCPT provides capacity, grants, data, tools, and coordination to help its partners create a healthy and thriving democracy through a racial equity lens. WCPT and its partners promote civic engagement, access, and representation through a variety of methods, including: voter education, registration, and mobilization; issue advocacy, base building, community organizing, communications, and litigation. Position Overview
The Wisconsin Civic Power Table is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the management of finances, people, and operations in the organization. This person is operationally sharp and politically grounded, able to bridge what is often a gap between movement values and internal operations. This mostly internal-facing position is located in Milwaukee and is supervised by the Executive Director.
Principal Responsibilities for the Administrative Coordinator include:
Manage the WCPT office space for the team and partners’ use.
Manage the supplies and operations of the office
Lead on office-related logistics, including support for events or meetings in the space
Maintain a welcoming and accessible environment
Support financial management and facilitate helpful administrative systems.
Collect receipts and submit timely expense reports
Support grantmaking processes by collecting paperwork and tracking the administering of grants
Facilitate contracting processes for vendors and consultants, coordinating between team members, the fiscal sponsor, and contractors
Contribute to well-organized, ethical operations and a people-centered workplace.
Maintain clear administrative systems, organized information, and effective internal processes
Manage the team’s weekly meetings, communication platforms, calendar, and Google Drive
Help strengthen internal systems and practices that reflect WCPT’s commitment to people-centered operations and a positive, effective team environment
Experience & Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, grammar, and formatting
Commitment to values-centered, anticapitalist, and anticolonial approaches to operations
Successful at managing multiple projects and timelines without overextending
Experience supporting financial, administrative, or operations systems in a nonprofit setting
Proficiency with Google Workspace (e.g. Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Comfortable with practices of delegation and feedback, with a collaborative working style
Kindness, patience, and professionalism in communication and teamwork
Preference for experience developing or refining internal systems, policies, or culture
Compensation: The salary range for this role is $65-75,000. The Wisconsin Civic Power Table provides a full benefits package that supports the employees’ well-being, financial security, and familial needs.
Location: Milwaukee, WI (required).
