Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an occupational medicine physician supporting mobile wellness clinics in Waterbury, Connecticut. This locum tenens role involves conducting DOT physical exams in a daytime mobile clinic setting, supporting real-time result review with NRCME certification.
Opportunity Details
- Location: Waterbury, CT — mobile wellness clinic at Wellness Program Albert Bros., Inc.
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Mobile clinic support for DOT physicals
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour hours from 09:00 to 17:02, flexible within the first two weeks of May
- Coverage: Starting 05/11/2026 for one week (ending 05/18/2026)
- Clinical Scope: Conducts DOT physical exams including medical history review, vitals, urine analysis, and Point of Care testing; reviews exam results in real time
- Provider supported by CNS mobile unit, medical assistant, forms, and supplies
Practice Environment
Mobile clinic environment at a community-based wellness program, with approximately 20-25 exams conducted over 6-8 hours daily, supporting daytime operations.
Requirements
- MD degree with active Connecticut license
- Licensed to perform DOT physicals with NRCME certification
- No minimum experience required
