Description

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for Lone Tree Pediatrics. In this on-site role, you will support pediatric providers with patient intake, rooming, vitals, vaccinations, and procedures while ensuring accurate EHR documentation. You’ll assist with scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient communication to keep the clinic running smoothly. As part of a collaborative, physician-led team, you’ll help deliver compassionate, family-centered care, uphold infection control and safety standards, and contribute to quality and process improvement to better serve children and families in the Lone Tree community.
Perform patient intake, including history, vital signs, and basic screenings for pediatric patients
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with pediatric exams, vaccinations, and minor procedures
Document visits accurately in the EHR and manage orders, referrals, and follow-up tasks
Support front-desk functions including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and phone triage as needed
Maintain infection control standards, room cleanliness, and equipment sterilization
Educate patients and families on visit instructions, follow-up care, and clinic resources
Coordinate with nurses, providers, and care teams to ensure smooth clinic flow and timely care
Support quality and safety initiatives and participate in team meetings and continuous improvement
