Description

Jobot is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with both clinical and administrative duties in a professional, tech-enabled environment. In this role, you will room patients, obtain histories, take vitals, assist with procedures and injections, and document accurately in the EHR. You’ll also help schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up, and support basic insurance and billing workflows. Working in a collaborative, people-centric culture, you’ll use modern tools, receive training, and contribute directly to high-quality patient care and client satisfaction.
Greet and room patients, obtain medical history, and document information in the EHR accurately.
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies following sterile technique and infection-control protocols.
Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, injections, and diagnostic tests as directed.
Perform basic clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKG setup when needed.
Handle appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and coordination of follow-up visits.
Support insurance verification, prior authorizations, and basic billing-related documentation.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding instructions, follow-up care, and office policies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and comply with all privacy and safety regulations.
